Terms of Use

Welcome to Portify (the "App"). By using the App or signing in with Google, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

1) Acceptance

Use of the App requires a valid Google account. If you are old enough to create and use a Google account under Google's terms in your country, you may use this App.

2) Service Description

Portify lets you create and showcase a portfolio, store portfolio data in your own Google Drive using the drive.file scope only, generate public links/QR codes, and view shared portfolios. The App does not run a central server for your portfolio files.

3) Data Ownership

You own and control all files stored in your Google Drive. You can view, modify, or delete your files at any time from Google Drive.

4) Public Sharing

When you create public links or QR codes, anyone with the link can view your shared portfolio. You are responsible for what you choose to share.

5) Data Recorded Outside Your Device and Drive

To operate the service and track uploads, the App automatically logs the following to a Google Sheets document via Google Apps Script: your Google sign-in email, name, job title, bio, your public portfolio link, your deep link, and a timestamp. Access to this sheet is limited to the developer. You can request deletion of these sheet entries via app settings and will be removed instantly.

6) Default Friend Entry

The developer account is listed as a default friend for all users; you can remove it from your friends list at any time. This does not grant the developer access to non-public portfolio content.

7) Acceptable Use

Do not upload or share illegal content, abusive content, malware, or materials that infringe intellectual property. Do not attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or disrupt the App or its services.

8) No Warranties and Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "AS IS" without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data.

9) Termination

The developer may suspend access for misuse or violations. You may stop using the App and delete your data at any time.

10) Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, with disputes resolved in the competent courts of Amman unless otherwise agreed.

1) Information We Collect

• From Google Sign-In: email address only.
• Portfolio data: JSON, images, video that you create; these are stored in your own Google Drive.
• Upload log in Google Sheets (created automatically): email, name, job title, bio, your public portfolio link, your deep link, and a timestamp. This log is not used for ads or resale.

2) How We Use Your Information

• Authentication via Google.
• Storage in your Google Drive using the drive.file scope to create/update your portfolio files.
• Sharing: generate public links and deep links for viewing.
• Google Sheets log: operate the service, track uploads, and support users.

3) What We Do Not Do

• No analytics, ads, payments, or in-app purchases at this time.
• No selling or renting your data.

4) Where Data Is Stored

• Your device.
• Your Google Drive (portfolio files and media).
• Google Sheets log (access limited to the developer).

5) Data Sharing

• With Google services needed to run the App (Google Sign-In, Drive API, Apps Script/Sheets).
• Not shared with other third parties unless required by law.

6) Retention and Deletion

• Your files stay in your Google Drive until you delete them.
• Google Sheets log is kept for service operation; you can delete your data from app settings and it will be removed instantly.
• You can revoke the App's access from your Google Account settings (OAuth) at any time.

7) Security

OAuth 2.0 for identity and HTTPS for transmission. No system is risk-free; avoid uploading highly sensitive content.

8) Your Rights

• Access, edit, or delete your files in Google Drive.
• Revoke the App's access from your Google Account.
• Request deletion of Google Sheets log entries via app settings.

9) Age

The App is intended for people who are eligible to create and use a Google account under Google's terms in their country (not directed to children).
